At first glance, the leisurely gathering spot known as "Chat & Chill" bar and grill may seem like just another social location for cruisers and boaters. However, it's much more than that - it is a cherished local that holds a special place in the hearts of those who navigate the open waters.
The Owners
The owners of the open air bar, outdoor grill, volleyball beach and waterside conch-salad shack are Kenneth “KB” Bowe and Kwanza Bowe. They have encouraged sailors to gather on the beach and at the volleyball courts daily. There are events like Yoga, Advanced Volleyball, beginners volleyball, dominoes, cards, musical gatherings and even, well known amongst the sailing community, a nondenominational beach church event. In exchange, all KB asks is that people do not bring their own food and drink to the beach, aside from water.
